Holberg Global - our actively managed global equity fund
Holberg Global is based on active management, stock picking, curiosity, and flexibility. Holberg Rurik gives you access to an exciting portfolio with significant exposure to global companies and markets, paired with several of our Nordic favorites.
As with all our equity funds, we mainly disregard index composition when compiling the portfolio for Holberg Global, opting instead to utilize thorough analyses in order to actively locate intriguing and promising shares.
Holberg Global was previously a Nordic equity fund focusing on sector allocation. However, as of August 15, 2006, the fund’s investment universe was expanded to comprise the entire globe. In essence, we wanted to bring the ideas and skills honed in the Nordic markets to ‘the rest of the world’.
Holberg Global is managed by Leif A. Frönningen. He has been with Holberg Fondene since 2006, and holds an M.Sc. in industrial economics and technology management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology
